RFQ posted for Water Street Environmental Services

The City of Ypsilanti is soliciting Qualifications from firms interested in providing professional environmental services for the Water Street redevelopment area. These services include implementation of three EPA Hazardous Material Cleanup grants as well as HUD Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding.

Additionally, services will include ongoing work with the City to revise and readopt the Brownfield Plan for the site, to prepare and administer MDEQ Act 381 Work Plans for remediation, and to identify and pursue future funding opportunities for the project.

Please note that this RFQ does not include demolition work directly. Contractors interested in bidding on the actual demolition work to be performed with a portion of these funds are encouraged to check back later for a future RFP.
