Fiscal Services is responsible for administration of the city's budget, financial records, revenues and expenditures, and property assessments. Fiscal Services includes the Accounting Division, Assessor's Division, and the Treasurer's Division.  The responsibilities of these offices are as follows:

• Prepare annual and mid-year budget

• Coordinate annual audit

• Process payroll and accounts payable

Assessor's Division: (734) 483-1530

• Maintain real and personal property records

• Conduct property assessments

• Issue business licenses

• Prepare lot splits and consolidations

Treasurer's Division: (734) 483-1103

• Collect property taxes, special assessments, and parking permit fees

• Issue residential parking permits for Downtown and residential area
